Verity White discussing collaborative and conscious contracting

Our founder Verity White talks to the wonderful Crafty Innovates community from Crafty Counsel about Conscious Contracting(™) and the potential impact of this innovative contracting approach for in-house practice.

Details below…

Crafty Innovates: Contracting with a conscious?

Topic: Please share something innovative you've seen recently in legal. How did it make life better - for you, your clients, or anyone else? It can be tech, not tech, big or small!

THIS MONTH we kick off by hearing from Verity White of Checklist Legal in Australia. Verity will be reflecting on her recent training in "Conscious Contracts" - 'The Conscious Contracts model is one example of the evolution of law to reflect new perspectives. It shifts the paradigm of contracting by starting with what matters: why the parties are entering the agreement, what they want to create in the world together, and how they are going to treat each other.' https://consciouscontracts.com/evolving-contracts/

This is our new standing agenda item for Crafty Innovates - a group bringing together perspectives from across legal (in-house, law firms, New Law, lawtech, and beyond!)
