Causes We Care About
Donating time and money are two key ways we aim to make an impact. We also want to use our voice to through our support behind issues we care about.
Here are some issues we support.
Uluru Statement from the Heart
Checklist Legal founder Verity signed the Statement in 2020. We declare our support for the Statement in our website footer and often encourage others to read and sign it to support the formal recognition of an Indigenous voice in our government systems.
Sign the canvas here: https://fromtheheart.com.au/signtheulurustatementcanvas/
We have also written to our local MP to voice our support in writing, and you can too: https://fromtheheart.com.au/write-to-your-mp/
Women’s Mental Health - Liptember
A campaign dedicated to raising funds and awareness for women's mental health, harnessing the true potential of the collective, encouraging and inspiring people to listen, share, and learn.
Yes, this is fun because there is lipstick involved, but it’s also a great conversation starter and there are so many different and interesting ways to be involved. The organisations supported are wonderful also.

United Nations Women - International Women’s Day
Checklist Legal hopes to be more involved with the IWD events in the coming years. FOr the time being, we support this important day by attending events and purchasing products such as IWD ribbons to help support UN activities for women in need.
